**How can you make your home coffee more consistent?** Choose one coffee and try it a few times with the same cup, dose and drink volume. For milk drinks, notice which coffee-to-milk ratio you enjoy. Change one thing at a time. This makes it easier to find your favourite than starting every morning with a different capsule, cup and amount of milk.

## Build your own coffee morning

1. Choose a format. The four-format machine accepts small Nespresso capsules, large Dolce Gusto capsules, ground coffee or ESE pods, each with its appropriate holder.
2. Make a short coffee and taste it without milk too. For a milk drink, add a little milk first, then adjust the ratio for your cup.
3. Match the foam to the drink: warm for cappuccino, cold for an iced version. The four-function frother makes thin or thicker warm foam, cold foam or warm milk.

Choose your mug size deliberately: a large cup can encourage adding more milk to the same coffee dose. For a longer black coffee, try adding separately prepared hot water. The water dispenser supplies the water; the coffee machine still prepares the coffee.

### Does the machine accept every capsule?

No. It accepts the small Nespresso and large Dolce Gusto formats with the correct holder; Nespresso Vertuo is a different system. Check the capsule system before choosing.

### Why does my milky coffee taste weak?

First try the same coffee with less milk. If you prefer that, the ratio needed changing, rather than necessarily the appliance.
