**Which coffee format should you choose?** Capsules are convenient when you want a pre-measured portion; ground coffee gives you more freedom over the coffee and dose. ESE paper pods are also pre-portioned but need their own holder. Alongside your favourite drink, consider how much preparation and cleaning you want to do each morning.

## Check the capsule system before buying

The multi-format Fashion machine has separate holders for Nespresso small capsules, Dolce Gusto large capsules, ground coffee and ESE paper pods. Nespresso Vertuo is a different system and is not among the supported formats. The brand name alone is not enough: check the exact system on the packaging.

## Plan the order for milk coffee

1. Fill the water tank and prepare your cup and the holder for your chosen coffee.
2. Fill the milk frother to the correct mark. The featured model holds 160 ml for frothing or 300 ml for heating: foam needs room to expand.
3. Do not leave milk residue until the next morning. Clean milk-contact parts according to the instructions after making your drink.
