**When is a cookware set a useful choice?** A set is a good starting point when several essentials are missing and you would regularly use its sizes. If you only need to replace a worn pan, choose the right individual piece. Before buying, count cooking vessels, lids and trivets separately: the advertised piece count may include all of them.
